After you write all your notes appropriately, you can have lots of them so you need to be organized in order to prepare well for a test. First, you need to be sure that you have all the information you need so then you group the notes that have something in common. It is useful to anticipate the questions that can be asked on a test. Think about what you would put in the exams if you were the teacher, and you want to know how much your students know about the topic. Then, try to answer those questions and you will be prepared to do it on an exam.
When and where to study:
When: Figured out how many time you have for studying by taking a calendar and making notes on how you use normally your time. You should find some free time and use it for studying instead for doing something you want to do (like watching TV). Next, you need to plan your study time. Don’t wait to last minute for reviewing your notes because you would not learn anything, so study everyday some little. Also, you should start by the difficult (or boring) subjects, when you are fresh, and leave the easy ones later. Avoid having long-time study sessions or just take a break every hour so you would get more productive and use any time you can where you are free and have anything to do to start. Where: Use a specific study area so your body gets used to it and your concentration will improve every time you’re at that place. Don’t get too much comfortable, you need to be alert and libraries will help you a lot because your brain will know that is time to work. Finally, you can get into study groups because it can be very helpful for practising for oral presentations and the study become funnier and productive. How to cite your resources properly: Because of the many unreliable information found in the internet, it is good to look for many resources for an investigation project. And because you use many resources, you must cite where you got each piece of information to avoid plagiarism. Citing helps validate what you are explaining in a project. It gives the project credibility and security for the audience to know that what they are being told is right.
